Obituary of Doreen Simkins
Doreen Elaine Simkins passed away at Riverside Health Complex, Turtleford, Saskatchewan on March 16, 2024 at the age of 83 years.
Doreen is survived by: her loving husband, Keith Simkins; children, Shelly Simkins and Glen (Dawn) Simkins; grandchildren, Danielle Wilson, Chasity (Christopher) Palmer, Brandt Pilling, Aaron (Annie Laing) Pilling, Lindsay (Jesse) Jackson, and Cameron (Kayla) Simkins; great grandchildren, Brooke, Duncan, Michael, Kiera, Caeli, Liam, Brinn, Zeke, Seth, Annabelle, Lacey,Paige, Aubrie, Emery, and Caleb; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Doreen is predeceased by: her parents, Herbert and Eva Maess; brothers, Gordon Maess, Bud Maess; and sister, Sylvia Meadows.
The Funeral Service for Doreen will be conducted from Turtleford Community Centre, Turtleford, Saskatchewan on Friday, March 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
Donations in memory of Doreen may be made to Turtleford Riverside Health Complex or Alzheimer's Society.

We would like to thank Doreen’s six grandchildren, Danielle Wilson, Chasity Palmer, Brandt Pilling, Lindsay Jackson, Cameron Simkins and Aaron Pilling for being her Pallbearers.
We wish to thank the TADRA ladies for providing the wonderful lunch following the service.
Thank you to all who brought food to the house and to everyone that phoned, visited, sent flowers and cards. Your love and support are greatly appreciated.
The family would also like to extend a huge thank you to all of the Staff and Doctors at Riverside Health Complex for the wonderful care and compassion given to Doreen throughout the length of her stay.
