Obituary of Wayne Newport

Wayne Newport passed away at St. Paul’s Hospital, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at the age of 67 years. Wayne is lovingly remembered by: his wife of 47 years, Peggy;

his children, Luke (Tricia) Newport, Monica (Nigel) Lilley; his grandchildren, Jace and Dane (Newport); his sisters Janet (Robert), Meredith (Brian), Sandy (Tim); his brother Rob (Rhonda); numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Wayne was predeceased by: his parents, Lois (Newport) Cammidge and Gordon “Sandy” Newport.

In light of COVID-19 and current health guidelines the service for Wayne will now be a private family service. An event to honor Wayne’s life will be held at a later date.

Donations in memory of Wayne may be made to Neilburg Rec Board or the donor’s charity of choice.
