Obituary of Nina "Mary" Dale

Nina Mary Dale passed away peacefully at the Lloydminster Continuing Care Centre on Monday November 19, 2018 at the age of 96.

Mary is survived by: her son, Duane Dale (Anita) and Anita's family; her brother, Edward his wife Mary Chilton from Sherwood Park, AB; her sister-in-law, Margaret Chilton of Parksville, BC;  numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; as well as great  great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Mary was predeceased by: the love of her life and soul mate, Laurence Dale who passed away December 1959.

Mary was also predeceased by: her parents, Arthur and Nina Chilton; her sisters, Lillian (Chilton) French and Thelma (Chilton) Shaw; her brother-in-law, Lewis Shaw; her brothers, William Chilton and Robert Chilton; her niece, Thelma Elizabeth Shaw; and her nephew Kenneth Arthur French.

Mary was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister and school teacher.

The loves in her life beside her husband and son included her teaching career, farm life, curling and her never ending love of gardening and flower shows!

If there was a family function Mary was always either hosting at the farm or part of the catering to insure all had enough to eat! She loved to call Lewis Shaw her brother in law and pretend to be Thelma - always up for a laugh with those close to her!

The family all loves you and now it is time to enjoy a dance once more with Laurance..

Cremation will be followed by a private family service next summer with internment in the Marwayne Cemetery.
