My deepest condolences, Kirk was a pioneer in demonstrating how one should be accepting and kind to one another. He had many friends and aquaintances throughout Calgary who are truly blessed to have had experienced his friendship and kindness. Those whom experienced his friendship are truly better people because of that blessing. Thank you Kirk. Rest peacefully.

My sincere condolences to you, Rena and your family. Kirk & I worked together at Bryce & Youngman. Over the years our lives took us in different directions, but I would often get a phone call from a Kirk, usually at 1:00 am and he liked to talk for hours.

Over the past few years I have often thought of Kirk. He came to Barr Colony School in Grade 2 and being two of the smallest in the class we seemed to always be partnered up. Our paths have not crossed in the 40 years since High School but I always hoped to see him again. Like the others I was sad not to see him at reunions. My sincere condolences go out to all his family at this time

My condolences to your family. I graduated with Kirk (one of the twins) and I worked during my high school years with his sister Carrie. Carrie always wanted Kirk and I to date, so did I but was too shy to make a move. Well I one night at a party, we talked for hours at the party and he drove me home and gave me a kiss good night, such a gentleman. Later on in Lloydminster while visiting my parents, I was getting my hair cut and there was Carrie right beside me, edging me on to call up Kirk, I was too shy and we went our separate ways in life; but I was still attracted to him. Kirk had charisma and a light that shown out of him, he drew people in. I saw him a few years later at my parent's cabin at Brightsand, he had come with Michael Knitter; I was a bit jealous of him being engaged. I will forever remember as a love that didn't come to be. I have found wistful memories of a wonderful man, who was a gentleman and had a beautiful smile. We had a reunion last summer and I was so hoping he would be there but unfortunately he could not come. So know that your son was wonderful and I will always remember of the one who captured my heart. hugs Jayne P.S. I was sorry to note that Carrie had passed ...I had lost contact with her. She I worked at the Coop together...I was very young and impressionable then and we shared some great laughs over the boxes of condoms that I was stacking....as I didn't know what they were; she quickly informed me. I will always remember them both. hugs. Jayne.
