Obituary of Al Solie

Aloysius “Al” George Solie passed away at the Jubilee Home, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the age of 91 years.

Al is survived by: his wife, Loretta; his children, Wayne and Lynda Solie, Janice and John Erkelens, Gaylene and Gene Rindero and Todd Solie (Gail); his nine grandchildren; his fifteen great grandchildren; his siblings, Carol Broboske, Joe (Rita) Solie, Marie Gravelle, Ralph (Terry) Solie, Peter (Jean) Solie, Ed (Stella) Solie, Gerald (Marianne) Solie and Geraldine (Jim) Dornstauder.

Al was predeceased by: his parents, Adam and Pauline Solie; his brother, Leo Solie; his sisters, Beatrice Vogt and Clem Genz; brothers in law, Tony Vogt, Reg Genz, Barney Bobroske and Hank Gravelle; and his sister in law, Lena Solie.

The Prayer Vigil for Al will be held at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 7:00 PM.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Al will be conducted from St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 1:45 PM.

Donations in memory of Al may be made to Charity of Choice.
