EWANOWICH ~ Eugene "Gene" Ewanowich passed away suddenly at his home in Maidstone, Saskatchewan Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the age of seventy-six years.
Gene leaves to mourn: his loving wife, Angeline Ewanowich of Maidstone, Saskatchewan; daughter, Wanda (Allan) Olszowka of Bonnyville, Alberta; son, Doug (Louise) Ewanowich of Bonnyville, Alberta; daughter, Lori Ewanowich of Lloydminster; daughter, Lana (Eric) Bacon of Airdrie, Alberta; seven grandchildren: Allison (Rae) Croteau, Joel Olszowka, Melissa Olszowka, Austin Ewanowich, Brianna Ewanowich, Sheena (Jacob) Bradley and Spencer Bacon; four great-grandchildren: Cora, Ava, Ashten and Kynslea; four sisters: Irene Topilko of Edmonton, Alberta, Eleanor (Doug) Bennett of Coquitlam, British Columbia, Jeannette Goheen of Lloydminster, Alberta and Olga McGale of Fort Macleod, Alberta; and two brothers, George Ewanowich of Kemptville, Ontario and Steve (Verna) Ewanowich of Kelowna, British Columbia.
Gene was predeceased by his parents, Nick and Mary; brother, Harry Ewanowich; and sister, Lorrette Krywy.
At his request, a "Celebration of Life" barbecue will be arranged at a later date.
Donations in Gene's memory may be made to the Maidstone Pine Island Lodge or to Telemiracle.
McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the arrangements.
