BIOGRAPHY
DORNSTAUDER ~ Albert Dornstauder passed away peacefully at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at the age of 79 years.
Al is remembered by: his wife Bev, four sons: David and Marilyn Dornstauder of Swift Current, Gordon and Patty Dornstauder of Regina, Jim and Ruth Dornstauder of Lloydminster, Dick and Cindy Dornstauder of Red Deer, fourteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one brother Frank Dornstauder of Regina as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The prayer service for Al was conducted from the McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Monday, October 15, 2007 at 7:00 P.M.
The funeral service for Al was conducted from St. Anthonys Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Father Jan Sobkowicz and Father Paul Kavanagh officiating.
A eulogy was given by Dick Dornstauder.
The 1st reading was given by Frank Dornstauder and the 2nd reading was given by Carrie Glassford.
The general intercessions were given by Carol Deutscher.
The eucharistic ministers were Larry and Margaret Mazurek.
Special music was by: Pat Hankey, Donna Weston, Marlene Risling, Carmelita Swan & Mel Risling.
Active pallbearers were: Blake Dornstauder, Brendan Dornstauder, Jennifer Dornstauder, Sarah Dornstauder, Darren Dornstauder, Jeremy Dornstauder, Dave Glassford, Kurtis Chapman, Quinn Urbaniak-Dornstauder and Zayn Urbaniak-Dornstauder.
Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery.
McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.

Thank you to the EMTs for their prompt response and emergency treatment of dad and to the Lloydminster Hospital Emergency Department for their efforts.
The family would like to thank Carrie Glassford for the amazing nursing care provided for her Grandpa while in hospital in Edmonton.
Thank you to all who expressed their sympathies by kind words, cards, gifts of food and flowers. The support to our family was overwhelming.
