Obituary of William Manson

Manson: William James "Bill" Manson passed away in the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at the age of 83 years.
Bill will be sadly missed by all his family and friends and forever loved by his surviving wife Irene; two sons: Ken and Dorothy Manson of Bonnyville, Mick and Gail Manson of Little Fishing Lake; one daughter: Cindy and her husband Larry Green also of Little Fishing Lake; four step-sons: Greg and Eileen Bertelsen of Dewberry, Jim and Jackie Bertelsen of Lloydminster, Larry and Vicki Bertelsen of Lloydminster, Brian and Dianne Bertelsen of Edmonton; one step-daughter: Nelda and Don Pelz of Lloydminster; one step-daughter-in-law: Norma and Ralph Olson of Lloydminster; twenty-six grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives.
Bill was predeceased by: his step-son Lynn Bertelsen, his parents Maude & James Manson, two brothers: Leonard and Warren (Hank), two sisters Mildred (Toots) Chouinard, and Doreen Ibbotson.
The funeral service for Bill was conducted from St. John's Anglican Church, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Michael Stonhouse officiating.
A eulogy was given by Tracy Klotz.
The hymn sung was "Just As I Am," accompanied on the organ by Pat Skinner.
Special CD music "Tears In Heaven," was played as a recessional.
Honorary pallbearers were all those who shared in Bill's life.
Active pallbearers were: Quinten Bertelsen, Corey Bertelsen, Cameron Pelz, Layne Manson, Kody Manson, Landen Manson and Darren Bertelsen.
McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements.
