BIOGRAPHY
OLAFSON ~ Joyce Esther Olafson passed away peacefully in the Riverside Health Complex, Turtleford, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the age of 63 years.
Joyce will be sadly missed by her husband Merle; daughter Treena and Wayne Wooff and their children: Chelsea and Colin; brother John and Claudette Maurer as well as numerous other relatives.
Joyce was predeceased by her mother and father: Alex and Esther; sisters: Carol, Bev, Chris, Shirley, Louise and brother Walter.
The memorial service was conducted from the Good Shepherd United Anglican Church, Turtleford, Saskatchewan on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Canon Donald Skinner officiating.
The hymns sung were "There'll Be Peace In The Valley" and "Will The Circle Be Unbroken" accompanied on the organ by Bev Meikle.
The Turtleford Community Choir sang "Go Rest High On The Mountain".
Special music played was "Silver Bells".
McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Turtleford, Saskatchewan administered the funeral arrangements.
Donations in memory of Joyce may be made to the Riverside Health Complex.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Joyce
