We were so sorry to hear of the passing of our very dear friend and wonderful neighbour, Irene Hippe, of many years in Lloydminster. The Hippe family was a big part of Rodney's growing up and a school mate of Gladys. Rodney remembers like it was yesterday Irene joking with him about how to spell Mississippi (Mrs. Hippe). Gus and Irene were such enjoyable and positive people. We appreciated that Irene kept in touch over all these years and admired her resolve and depth of character and recognize her remarkable service to Royal Purple. What a great sense of humor and warm heart she had for all. She enriched our lives and of course the lives of Gus and their family, immediate and extended. Thinking of you fondly at this difficult time Gladys, Darlene, Val and Ken, and families.
