I was sorry to hear of Mel's passing. I'm glad we were able to see him one last time at their 70th Anniversary last summer. He always was a proper gentleman in my eyes. I still have a little wooden thimble which he made, representing his wood working craft which he enjoyed so much. I remember the times when he came into the Co-op when my office was there....he would always stop to say hello. He'll be missed by all his family and neighbours alike.
