cinnamon Robinson (nee Wilder) posted a condolence
Sunday, November 14, 2010
14th November 2010 I am Cinnamon, I am Rose (nee Holman) and Ed Wilder's daughter from New Zealand. Growing up I lived very far away from my Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts and cousins so it was always a pleasure when family stories were told. I especially enjoyed hearing of my Mum's favourite childhood memories and I can assure you Uncle Allan was always part of those stories. I have had the pleasure of meeting him on several occassions whilst back home to Canada and I would have to agree with my Mum, what a great great man. Growing up in my childhoold Aunty Maza (Bexson) but to me called Aunty Becky and Uncle Ross Armstong, I have the same great memories of yet another great Bexson family member. These were the Canadian relatives that featured greatly in my life visiting New Zealand often throughout my childhoold so to me the name Bexson means, great great people. It is a pleasure to be realated. Our five children already know about Uncle Allan and if you were to ask them about him they would say that's the man that lived to be very old and wore cowboy boots and a cowboy hat and drove until he was very very old To all the Bexson family I am deeply sorry for your loss, gone but never forgotten xx

Our sympathy to all the family. What a wonderful man, Uncle Allan was, he certainly lived life to the fullest. When we came home to Lloyd, we always met up at the Co-op, have lunch with him and listen to his latest stories. I am forever great full to have been able to visit him last summer. from Sugie-Rose Wilder

My deepest condolences to my cousins in the loss of their Dad, Grandpa, Uncle ... and my great Uncle Allan. My Grandfather Joe Bexson was Uncle Allan's older brother. He once told me after kicking my butt for crying because I was mad & couldn't get up on Rusty's old horse "Mister", ... "you're not a Bexson if you can't get up on a horse" ... I DID get on that horse!! We will all miss you Unc & we'll meet again @ the great horse ranch in the sky !! All our love, from Brenda & Jim Bexson (Fred Bexson's children)

I grew up with Pa, due to the fact that he and my Grandpa were so close (Bill Calhoun). I remember visiting him and Kitty, and always loved him because he was so kind to me. My children also grew to adore him. Grandpa used to think so much of him, as Hulda does. This is a sad day for a man who will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace, and have a coffee and a talk about horses with my Grandpa.
