Leonard will be sadly missed by his wife of 71 years Louisa Parke of Lloydminster; five children: Doreen and Doug Lyding of Coaldale, Alberta, Keith and Bev Parke of High Prairie, Alberta, Len Junior and Ruby Parke of High Prairie, Alberta, Heather and Cliff Swanson of Prince George, British Columbia, Laura and Roger Auger of Edmonton, Alberta; twenty one grandchildren; forty eight great grandchildren; one daughter-in-law Betty Parke of Grande Prairie, Alberta; one sister Violet Fawcett of Nanaimo, British Columbia; two brothers: Bruce and Marj Parke of Yahk, British Columbia, Jack and Mildred Parke of Centralia, Washington as well as numerous other relatives.
Leonard was predeceased by his parents, one sister, three brothers, daughter Beverly in 1944, daughter Joan in 1957 and son Dick in 2006.
Donations in memory of Leonard may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donors choice.
