He is survived by his wife Jean;
five children: Harvey (Joy) Hartel of Lloydminster; Harold (Marion) Hartel of Bashaw; Helen (Dick) Galloway of Lloydminster; Heather (Dan) Volk of Lloydminster; Leo Hartel; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 brothers; 2 sisters and numerous other relatives.
Donations may be made to Points West Patient Care Fund.
