Obituary of Mark Smith

Mark Earl Smith passed away in Ponoka County, Alberta on Thursday September 10, 2009 at the age of 41 years. Mark will be sadly missed by his children: Tyler, Charlene, and Travis all of Clive, Alberta. The mother of his children Beverly Smith of Clive, Alberta, special friend Dayna Bindert and daughter Jessica Carty of Edmonton, Alberta, his parents Alvin Smith of Northbend District, Catherine Trask of Lloydminster, Alberta; one sister Janet and husband Kurt Schrempf of Lloydminster, Alberta; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service was conducted from the First Baptist Church, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Mark Breitkreuz officiating. The eulogy was read by Mark's uncle Dwain McMillan. The honorary pallbearers were his children: Tyler, Charlene, & Travis; nieces and nephews: Chelsey, Michael, Darcy, Michelle, Erik and Andrew. Active pallbearers: Terry Morris, Phil Bexson, Jim Berscht, Ryan McMillan, Les McMillan, and Darcy McMann. Interment was held in the Albion Cemetery. A Trust Fund has been set up for the children at ATB Financial in Lloydminster, Alberta in the name Janet Schrempf Trust. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Everyone who brought flowers, food, phone calls and visits to the house we couldn't have got through the week without you. Pastor Mark for doing an awesome job at showing us Mark's happy times.
