Obituary of Lorne Moyah

Lorne aka “BOSS” was born on April 28, 1980 in Paradise Hill, SK to Lorna Waskewitch of Onion Lake, SK and the late, Herman Moyah of Thunderchild, SK. He had one sister, Raelene Waskewitch. He met LoriAnn Angus and they had five children together and 12 grandchildren. 

Lorne was a family man who really loved his children and grandchildren. He loved all his friends and family and made sure everyone was cared for. Lorne was a very crafty hands-on person and loved music. He once made a homemade Bluetooth speaker from scratch. In his earlier days, mixed martial arts and street fighting were his passion. He was also one of the gentlest guys you knew.

Lorne was predeceased by: his daughter, Laquisha Angus (2017); father, Herman Moyah (2021); maternal grandparents, Augustus (Papa) Waskewitch (2003) and Maria (Mama) Waskewitch (2014); and paternal grandparents, Cecelia Moyah and Sylvestre Cardinal; his homies; and brothers who left before him.

Lorne is survived by: his children, Laquida Angus, Larissa Angus, Aubrey Angus, Odell Angus and Bryanna Hill; mother, Lorna Waskewitch; sister, Raelene Waskewitch (Dan); and 12 grandchildren.
