Obituary of Lois Kendel

Lois Kendel passed away at Riverside Health Complex, Turtleford, SK on July 31, 2024 at the age of 83 years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Mervin Hope Hall, Mervin, SK on September 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM.

 

Lois was the definition of love, caring, and understanding. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. Her warmth and kindness knew no bounds, and she approached life with an open heart and a generous spirit that touched the lives of everyone she encountered. Lois was not just a wife, a mother, or a friend—she was inspiration of hope and support for everyone she met. Her compassionate nature was full of grace, kindness, and unwavering love. Lois was devoted to her family and community.

We want to express our deepest gratitude for the love and support we have received during this time.

 

Let us honour Lois's memory by carrying forward her legacy of unconditional love.                                          

 

Lois is survived by: her husband of 63 years, Butch (Larry) Kendel; sister, Fay (Lawrence) Sloan; brother, Brad (partner Colleen) Gudmundson; daughters of deceased son, Brent Kendel; Tracy Kendel (Amendt) and Mark, Lana and Kirk Van Cornewal; Ashley and Blaine McKain. daughter, Bonny (Gary) Macnab; children, Trent (Kacie) Macnab, Michael (Jolene) Macnab, Rebecca (Garret) Knowlton; son, Brian (partner Janet) Kendel; son, Bart (Esther) Kendel; children Candice Fevang (Rick) and Erica (Corina) Fevang; nephew, Seth Gray, niece Samantha Gray; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Those who have gone before her; father and motherr, Earl and Milly Gudmundson; son, Brent Kendel; sister and brother-in-law, Gail and John Courtice; brother and sister-in-law, Glen and Jewel Gudmundson; brothers and sister, Donald, Berry and Debbie Gudmundson. May they Rest in Peace.

Donations in memory of Lois may be made to Thorpe Recovery Centre ito Family Programming.
