Aunt Irene helped me get dressed up for my night in the Christmas Capers Queen contest . . . I won, lol!
All during my high school years . . . my first time wearing makeup . . . she was there.
Then in 1980, with a straight pin and a block of ice, she pierced my ears, for my wedding.
Irene was very special Aunt.
