I am so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. He was one of the first people I met when I moved here. We spent many hours solving the world’s problems, discussing the markets and the state of life in general. One thing we couldn’t agree on was his proclivity to cheer for the Montreal Candiens but I can’t hold that against him. He was a great guy, a smart guy and I am proud to have called him a friend. I wish we had a chance for one last lunch.

Auntie Anne, Laurie, Kim and families, I was really sad to hear about Uncle Don passing. Uncle Don is one of my favorites. He was always kind, warm and playfully mischievous. I have many memories of playing cards around grandma's dinner table with everyone cracking up from something he was saying or doing. Who knew those yellow Crocs would have taken off like they did!
He was a person who could always made you feel good and losing someone like that is painful. We're thinking about all of you and wishing peace for you and your families.

I meet Don while working within the same office space as him. The experience, intelligence and professionalism that Don had was a rare commodity. I will always be grateful for our conversation and his kindness. I’m thankful that I had the opportunity to get to know him. My condolences to his wife and family.
