Hello Werner and Family,
I am one of Chris’ nursing classmates. We had so much fun with Chris in the UAH nurses’ residence! We all kept in touch at our reunions and last summer on a toad trip I stopped in and had a memorable visit with her.

Sending condolences to Werner and family on this sad loss. I actually met Chris about a year ago at the Lloydminster Pool. We were both enjoying a fun day out with our grandkids. She knew who I was and introduced herself and we had such a nice conversation, i will never forget. I was touched with how friendly she was and thought we should all be a little more like Chris when we get those chance encounters.

Werner and family. We were very saddened to hear of Chris passing. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. I wish I had made more of an effort to stop by for a visit. The funeral today was an awesome tribute to her. Her love for all of you will carry you through this difficult time.

So sorry Wennekamp’s. Many a weekend back in the day were spent at the farm with Michelle when we were growing up. Was always great to see Momma Chris out and about and catch up and get a hug. She will be dearly missed by so many.

I am reeling from the news of Chris’ untimely passing . She and I have been friends since our second children were born. I’ll never forget her laugh, her phone calls, her visits to wherever we moved, her support through tragic times. She recently told me ‘you never know what tomorrow will bring - we’re getting older’. I was shocked to hear of Chris passing .we have been neighbors for years with Devonia lake.between us.
Chris was so easy to talk to and aways had a twinkle in her eyes.
We would get together occasionally for coffee and see each other at church
