To all of the family.
What a wonderful lady, Anne Monroe was. I am Cindy’s sister-in-law. It took me all of 10 minutes of meeting her Grandma to fall in love with her and call her Grandma too. She was small in stature but emitted a large radiance of gentleness, kindness, feistiness, confidence, strength and love. Upon questioning her about stories from her youth, I found out life hadn’t alway’s been easy for her. You would never know it by the smile on her face and the joy she spread around. My deepest sympathies to you all, she was such a treasure.
To Jerri, Clay, Cindy, Darron, Cheyenne, Savannah, Tracy, Darrel, Chantelle, Taylor, Derek , Terena and Chase.
Your Mom and Grandma’s love, her laugh, the memories you made and The life lessons you learned from her, will always stay with you, these are her gifts to you. Hoping that the good memories and stories of your Mom and Grandma will bring some comfort as you find your way through this difficult time.
Whatever soothes your spirit, comforts your soul and fill’s your heart with peace, that is what you are wished at this sad time.

Grandma,
Thinking back to our times together always brings a smile to my face.
From the little joys of my childhood to navigating life’s ups and downs, you were always there, making everything a bit brighter. I’ll forever hold on to these memories, and though I can’t share a cup of tea with you now, the warmth of your love fills my heart.
I’ll miss you a lot, grandma. Thank you for everything, and I will never forget how many times you said you loved me in your last years. That truly meant the world to me. Thank you for teaching me so much and loving me like you did.
I love you and miss you. I will always cherish the time we shared.

Grandma,
You were a beacon of love and kindness who graced our lives for an incredible journey of 101 years. Your love wasn't just a feeling; it was a force that shaped my world for the 32 years I was fortunate enough to know you.
Your affection had this incredible way of making everyone feel special. You adored your great-grandsons, Jack and Grant. Their names were music to your ears, bringing forth a joy that radiated from your heart. Every moment we were able to spend with you was so special. Jack loved the countless treats you always gave him when we visited.
As I reflect on the memories woven over three decades, you are at the center of countless moments. From childhood tales and shared laughter to the quiet, comforting conversations, each memory is a testament to the richness you added to my life. Your presence was a blessing not just to our family but to everyone who knew you, a reminder of the beauty that love and kindness can bring to the world. To have you with us until the age of 101 is a gift that countless hearts, including mine, will forever cherish.
Grandma, your love and kindness were the threads that wove our family together. The impact you've had on Jack, Grant, Lisa and me is immeasurable. Though you've embarked on a new journey, your love continues to guide us, a lasting legacy that we'll carry in our hearts. Thank you for 101 years of love, Grandma. You are dearly missed.
Love,
Chris, Lisa, Jack and Grant

Jerri, Bev Debbie & Families,
We were deeply saddened when Sherri let me know that her Grandma had passed. She was such a wonderful lady that we have admired for many years.
Anne & Art were my first employers at the famous A & W Drive In in 1974. I was a car hop (after the roller blade era), and loved my job. I remember the first time that “Mrs. Schau” & Debbie drove on the lot to be served. The front end girls scared me with how strict she was, and they were nervous to serve them, so I volunteered, and was blown away how easy it was. From that moment on, we were friends for life, and she was no longer Mrs. Schau, she was Anne. A & W was my favourite job and I will always remember their kindness.
The night Dwayne & I were married in 1977, We hid our car in their garage, so our friends couldn’t decorate it for us. We played cards together with Art & Anne quite often (just walking across the Martin Browne School yard), and had a pile of laughs and great times. When we moved into our first condo in 2001, guess who was our next door neighbour…Anne & Max! We were so happy to see each other more often.
Anne was always very interested in our family, our travels, our work and everything life threw at us. She was a gem of a lady, and we will miss her…as will all of you.
I am so grateful for my visit with her in October. She still knew me, asked how I was, and told me she loved me. I loved her too. She was an amazing lady that I will cherish forever. Rest in peace dear friend. I see that I keep referring to your Mom as a”lady”… but she was always such a sweet sweet lady.
Hugs to you all. We will be away the day of her service, but will be with you in our thoughts and prayers.
Sending lots of love,
Debbie & Dwayne Lundquist.

I met Grandma Anne at Nico’s Bisto in early 2015, a few months after her grandson Chris and I started dating. I remember being amazed that she had made the drive at 93 to visit Chris and share in the life he was building for himself in Calgary. All my first impressions of Grandma Anne proved to be true over the 8 years I was blessed to know her; she was lively, loving, and dedicated to her family. She was both interested and interesting. Meeting Grandma Anne helped solidify my interest in Chris. I knew he came from a wonderful family that I would enjoy being part of, and I always looked forward to seeing Grandma Anne on our visits to Lloyd. I especially loved her stories about running the A&W in the days of roller skating servers!
From the day we met, Grandma Anne made me feel part of the family. Even though I am a new addition (married in 2018), she always made me feel like I belonged and was loved. I will always remember her for her ability to make people feel special and loved. Her dedication to her family is inspiring. She loved our boys, Jack and Grant, so deeply, and I am grateful she was able to meet them both.
Grandma Anne’s passing is a huge loss for our family, but she will always be remembered. She will live on in the love we have for her and for each other.
Rest in peace, Grandma Anne. We love you.

Mom,
In loving tribute to my dear mom, whose presence illuminated my life for countless cherished years,
Mom, you were not just a constant in my journey but also the embodiment of understanding and compassion. Your attentive listening, a testament to your caring nature, created a haven in which I could share my joys and sorrows without reservation.
I am grateful to God for blessing us with your incredible spirit for an astounding 101 years, during which you graced our lives with warmth and joy.
Among the many treasured memories are the times we spent playing cards for quarters. Those spirited games became more than just a pastime, they were moments of laughter, bonding and friendly competition.
Your unwavering support and empathetic ear shaped a bond that words struggle to capture. Through every triumph and challenge, you remained a pillar of strength. The legacy of your love, kindness, and the art of truly listening will forever resonate in my heart, offering comfort and guidance.
Thank you for being my confidant, my supporter, and the beautiful soul who made every moment together a precious gift.
Thank you for being my mom. Your caring heart and loving smile will always be remembered.
I miss you every day and even though you are no longer with us, I can still feel your love. You are always in my heart. I love you and miss you.

Grandma,
You were always there for me, through thick and thin, and your love was the kind that words could never fully capture. You weren't just a Grandparent; you were a rock in my life.
I remember your dedication to family, your unconditional support, and your inability to sit down ;) - always serving others. I think I can speak for all of us grandchildren in saying that you always made us feel safe and loved, no matter what was going on in our lives.
Your enthusiasm for life, your fun (and may I say, even a little bit competitive) nature, your work ethic, and your constant interest in our lives is something that will always stand out for me, and I hope I can emulate just a little of that for my kids and future grandkids. You brought so much joy to our lives.
As I think about you, I can't help but smile through my tears, thinking about all of the memories we shared. I am so thankful for the time I had with you, and I will carry that love in my heart as I go on with my life.
Rest in peace Grandma, Evan and I will never forget you, and your love will always be a part of us.
Love you forever, miss you for always....xoxoxo
