Obituary of Teira Thomson
Teira Lee Thomson (nee Noble) passed away peacefully at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, SK on September 21, 2023, at the age of 54 years, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loved friends and family members.
Teira was born to Roy and Kathy Noble (nee Pollard) on September 22nd, 1968, at Lashburn Hospital in Lashburn, SK.
Teira was deeply loved by: her family including her husband, Glen and her children, Clark and Brette (Chris); brother, Warren (Rayanne); niece, Sydney (Colby); nephew, Eric; sister-in-law, Cheryl (Darren); nieces, Hailey (Jesse) and Emerson; nephew, Chase; her Pollard family, Larry (Verna), Dale (Marie), Sylvia (Wayne), Wendy, Marlyin (Jim), and Shelley; and her Noble family, Leslie (Sharon), Shirley (Darrell), and Sandra (Rohan).
Teira was predeceased by: her grandparents, Bill, Joan, Jud, and Betty; mother and father-in-law, Marie and Ron; and uncle, Fred.
Our family extends gratitude to our family practitioner Dr. John van der Merwe for the diligent care he provided Teira over the years. We also extend thanks to the team at Lloydminster Hospital, notably the chemo ward, for all of their help during her journey. Finally, Dr. Kostic, Dr. Ilunga, Rhonda Bates, Mark Minster and the many other doctors and nurses who tended to Teira provided invaluable care during her final days.
A Celebration of Life for Teira will be conducted from WLS Convention Centre, Lloydminster, SK on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at 3:30 PM. The service will also be live streamed and posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Teira's obituary.
Donations in memory of Teira may be made to Lloydminster Amateur Softball Association to support the inaugural Teira Thomson Memorial Tournament to be held the end of the city league in June 2024. These donations can be made via etransfer to info@linersoftball.com or by providing a cheque to the organization. Additionally, donations can be made to Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation - Chemotherapy Fund or Terry Fox Foundation.
