I’ll always miss the conversations that always happened when I run into Pete. My first real job was for CNR under Peter a great long time ago. He was a person to learn from and a great friend. He’ll be missed…….. Don and Connie Mcculloch

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends. Pete and Vivian impacted my life on more than one occasion. Visiting while young I recall the large stack of toast and great breakfast. Playing with all the green John Deer toys was a found memory.
I recall their visit to Whitehorse and Peter could not rest and shared his work ethic. Dad would head off to work and I was the apprentice. Sad to say the work ethic didn't 100% rub off on me. Your family is so generous and God bless you all. Love Ezabel and Andre

To Pete’s family,
We were so sad to hear of Pete’s passing. He seemed like the kind of guy that would be around forever. I enjoyed, so much, working with Pete and Vivian at Pine Island Lodge. They always stepped up if anyone was in need. So many lessons learned.
Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Mr. Pete will not be forgotten.
Love to all. Heather and Mike Chisholm
Condolences also, from Doug Reynolds. He enjoyed so much his visits with your Mom and Dad

I have some great memories of Pete. Growing up, I spent almost as much time at Pete and Vivian's house as I did at my own so I got to know him pretty well. Pete never failed to tease me about "my boyfriend" and he laughed every time when I responded "which one".
Another memory of Pete was when visiting Colleen he asked us to help weed their garden. I knew Colleen pretty well had to but, for me, it was fun just spending time alongside Pete and Colleen. It was a surprise to my parents when I told them as I almost never helped with weeding our own garden. That soon changed.

Sweetest man who always asked about all our family. He had many railroad stories to talk about and was proud of the fact that Wilf and now Brady are working the same railroad he worked for so many years. Condolences to all the family. Will miss the little talks we had.
