Some of my first memories of volunteering at Onion Lake Foodbank was of Donna coming to the store. She always had time to chat for a few minutes and above all She made everyone feel very important. Im grateful for having met Donna she made me feel welcome and equal at Onion Lake, When she was in Lloydminster hospital I had the nicest visit with her she commented that she missed seeing me at the store this past few months. My sincere condolences to all of her family especially my friend Cheyenne.
Until we meet again rest in peace Elaine McKenzie

It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the loss of Donna, our dear friend. She embodied love and light, and her kind humor warmed all hearts around her. In her intelligence and wisdom, she was a beacon; adventure and creativity spoke through her vibrant spirit. As a ring buyer, she displayed remarkable courage and generosity. Upon donning the hat of our camp cook, she extended further selflessness. Her faith-oriented outlook instilled optimism in us all - how profoundly she will be missed.

May God's perpetual light shine upon Donna, a woman of considerable gentleness and spirited ambition. Her passion for life touched everyone she met. During my first encounter with her at Onion Lake, her warm welcome and generosity were immediately felt as if we had known each other forever. The love she held for my son was vividly seen in her actions, leaving us with an absence that is deeply felt. May her beautiful soul rest in the Lord's loving embrace. We will always be grateful for everything, Donna.
