KUHMAYER ~ Beverly Grace Kuhmayer passed away peacefully at the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at the age of 53 years.
Bev will be sadly missed by her husband Jim of Lashburn; three children: Michael Kuhmayer and Megan Leech and their children: Zoe, Cohwyn of Lloydminster; Amanda and Arne Jacobson and daughter Macie of Lloydminster; Kevin Kuhmayer of Lashburn; mother Grace Joki of Maidstone; Sisters, Donna and her husband, Allan, Beochler and family of Stony Plain, Brenda and her husband Keith Kimball and family, of Sylvan Lake, Debbie and her husband Rob Huber and family of Lloydminster and her brother Glen Joki and his wife Teresa and family of Lloydminster. As well as numerous other relatives. Bev was predeceased by her father Peter Joki of Maidstone in 2007.
The memorial service was conducted from the Lashburn Community Hall, Lashburn, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Lorna Brick officiating.
Tributes were given by Bev's daughter Amanda Jacobson, and her sisters, Donna Beochler, Debbie Huber and Brenda Kimball.
Special CD music was played: A Woman Like You ~ Johnny Reid, Seasons In The Sun ~ Terry Jacks, Blue Christmas ~ Johnny Reid, I Will Remember You ~ Sarah McLachlan.
The honorary pallbearers were Marlene Steib, Myrna Christensen, Sandi Tollestrup, Marlene Clark, Shirley Jones and Dr. Jill Lakins.
Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral
arrangements.
CARD OF THANKS
Our family would to thank family and friends who helped in our time of sorrow. Thank you all for the phone calls, visits, food, flowers, cards and donations. We greatly appreciate your thoughtfulness and continuing support.
A very special thanks to Dr. Lakins, Dr. Rogers, Dr. Sayeed and Dr. Chapelski for your care and compassion during Bev's illness, as well as the wonderful nurses and staff at the Lloydminster Hospital.
