Deb and family:
So saddened and sorry for the loss of your Dear Mom. I have so many wonderful memories of the time well spent with your folks , in the basement on 50th.She was such a happy fun loving person with a most generous heart!All though I have many memories , one that sticks out in my mind. Was the night about 10 o’clock when your Mom called down and told us there was a piece of hot apple pie waiting for us! Now how many landlords would do that.

I considered Betty a good friend of mine for what is 20 years this year. We started as neighbours and had always kept in touch. We shared many hours of wonderful conversations and I will cherish her words of wisdom for many years to come. Betty always spoke fondly of her family and was so grateful for Debbie and Brian’s help in the recent years. I am sure Mr. C has been up there somewhere waiting for her to join him for endless happy hours. I will miss you Betty, rest easy my friend.

Deb and Brian, so very sorry to hear this news. I always enjoyed stopping for happy hour when I was working! Loved visiting with Betty out on the deck in the summer and shooting the breeze lol. The “green house on the corner” just doesn’t seem the same since she moved and especially now. Hugs to you both.

We are sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. Her steadfast support of Rotary as secretary was so appreciated. When Betty proclaimed her intention on leaving there were a number of succession presidents who declared their intention to accept the chair ONLY if Betty would stay!
We really appreciated her wise advise through both Rotary and our church. Our condolences to her family.

One of my very favourite people. Hugs to all Betty’s Family, she was amazing and I so enjoy all the time I spent with her during the planning of the 1982 Alberta Winter Games and the many coffees and chats over the years. She hosted my Bridal shower and always had a funny story and giggle. She will be missed but will have a great time where she is heading.
