Kaye, Ed’s mom , traveled to Old Crow, Yukon with her husband Abe to spend time with her son who managed the Old Crow Coop. At the time it was the only financially successful coop of its kind in Canada.
She flew with her son in his Super Cub up to Bering Strait. The people of the community loved her for how quickly she learned to bead and create necklaces of her own design. She was above all a great artist with a killer smile.
