Velma Doris Mawdsley passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on December 27, 2021 at the age of 88 years.

Velma is survived by: her loving children, Eileen (Don) MacDuff, Sharon (Harry) Kerr, Doug  Mawdsley and Karen (Ashley) Hope; grandchildren, Ryan (Jamie), Brandy (Sean), Sarah (Chris), Ian (Jackie), Wade (Lyndsey), Corrie (Darcy), Jody (Scott), Jordan, Aaron, Jenna (Randy) and Kylar (Robyn); great grandchildren, Ethan, Kira, Owen, Alex, Kenzy, Maddy, Bennett, Emma, Jenna, Kayla, Kayden, Jesse, Jayden, Jaryn, Xander, Lennox, Haidyn, Ayva, Reid, Emerson and Damon; great great grandchildren, Myles and Wesley; siblings, Cliff (Lynn) James and Wayne (Sandra) James; sister-in-law, Margaret James and Mildred James; brother-in-law, Dennis Mawdsley; and numerous other relatives.

Velma was predeceased by: her husband, Edward Mawdsley; parents, Cloied and Hilda James; siblings, Len James, Audrey Waldorf and Virginia Klisowsky.

The Memorial Service for Velma will be conducted from Lashburn Community Hall,  Lashburn, Saskatchewan, on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 2:00 PM. If you are unable to attend in person, you may view the live streaming of the service which will be posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Velma's obituary at the time of the service.

Donations in memory of Velma may be made to Royal Canadian Legion Branch 73 - Lashburn, SK.
