I’d like to convey our deepest condolences to Tracy and Brian and all her extended family & friends. She was a loving mother; faithful, reliable and steadfast.
My earliest memories are of her kindness. She would bring me small gifts from her first job at a drug store. When I was a pre-teenager, Arlene and her husband Ron took me on a road trip to California. It was my first big holiday, which I will never forget. I now appreciate the generosity and benevolence that this journey represented.
As a young adult, Arlene and her husband Ron influenced me to embrace new ideas, challenges and…food. I am forever thankful that they introduced me to Oysters!! And to this point, I will forever miss Arlene’s cooking….She was a fabulous chef!
Introspection provides too many wonderful memories to list. So, I’d like to I share a Dr. Seuss quote that I feel is appropriate: “Dry cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened.”
Arlene, I am proud and honored to have had you as a sister. Rest in peace.
