We are so grateful for the many years of service at our Justamere Farm that Anton offered. He is an integral part of not only the farming operation itself, but also an influencial part of the lives of each of our family members. We have all learned a great deal from Anton and he will not be forgotten in our family circles as we share stories from those years when he was such a strong part of the operation. We are very sad at the loss of our friend and step-father Anton. In their peregrinations from Lloydminster, CN to Estes Park, CO and on to Mesa, AZ, he and Rhea led a very full life. Anton worked on Justamere Farm, just outside Lloydminster, and met Rhea while wintering in Mesa,AZ. They spent the summers on the farm and winters golfing in Mesa. He immigrated to Canada in his 20's and spent his life at Justamere, first clearing vast tracts of land with bulldozers dragging a chain, later seeding, haying, and raising cattle, especially prize winning bulls. He vividly remembers seeing the German Zeppelins flying overhead at the beginning of WWII before leaving Holland. We, and especially Rhea, will fondly remember his stories of the farm, playing golf, his meat and potatoes palette, fondness for C&C, and his assimilation into our family. We have many fond memories of Anton and appreciate his generosity toward Rhea.
