I got to know Ev while she lived at the Hemstock. She was a gem and I truly enjoyed her wonderful sense of humor. I am sorry I missed her funeral. She will be missed by those she met.

I vividly remember running across our pasture to the Tweten's house. Mrs. Tweeten would always have a story to tell and a game to play. She was like a Grandma to me, and a friend who I'll miss very much.

Auntie Ev, I know we didn't get a chance to see each other often living so far apart, but I always loved our visits and oh how you made me laugh. I remember at Dad's 70th. Birthday, you outwitted and outlasted the best of us. You had more energy and spunk than anyone, and you always made everyone smile. You really lite up the room. You were loved more than you will ever know. Love Nancy

What a wonderful person Aunt Ev was :) She was so special to my Dad, and I always heard of the great times they shared. I remember as a kid, trips to Lloyd with my Dad, spending time at Aunt Ev and Uncle Ole's. I remember (nervously) trying dumplings, and hearing many jokes, some that went way over my head at that time! Always a smile on her face, a laugh, and a big hug. Aunt Ev, I know you will be missed by many. Love, Cheryl Greathouse(Harold's dtr)

Mrs. Tweeten or "Ev"- our good neighbour, from "Kosy Knook" for many years and then a good friend from town. She and I shared a birthday and many a good cake. She taught my daughters how to play "Scrabble" and to generally appreciate a generation apart from their own. She has given us many lasting memories.

What a wonderful way to start my school career... in a country school with you & Mrs. Osinchuk as teachers. The fun we had on that little piece of property. I remember the Christmas Concerts, the science class with a real bear, the baseball games, forts in the bushes, dodge ball, tongues sticking to the swing support, and that magical off limits Airstream trailer of yours. You were a tough teacher but your smile and sense of humor were amazing. You were a great inspiration to many of your students and just this last summer we put up a historic school designation sign to recognize (the 2nd)Louise Lake School site. We so wished you could have see it, and I regret not getting a picture to you. I know you were excited to hear the news about that event and all the students that attended. I know you will keep things lively above... rest in peace.

What a remarkable lady. Ev's attendance at our Blackfoot Ladies Club meetings - Christmas especially, - was always a highlight for me. Her sense of humor and great wit and intelligence was a force to be reckoned with. May you rest in peace - Lillian Prost

I'll miss you so much. I'll miss our visits and trips to Mr. Bill's. I'll miss all of your slightly off-colour jokes. I'll miss your wise advise and funny stories. You were a wonderful auntie and a great person. Thank you so much for making me understand Algebra, you were such a good teacher. I have so many fond memories of you from the time I was a small child. I remember the family Christmas celebrations. I remember how you would cook for our huge crowd even though you hated cooking. I remember you always understanding why kids did silly things. I remember when you first started calling me long distance for special occasions - and always kept the conversations short because phone calls were costly. Luckily there was never a lack of conversation when we were face to face. I remember when you coloured your hair in pastels - I always loved that. I remember when you almost died of carbon monoxide poisoning when I was a kid, and how horrified I was that I might have lost you then. I am so glad that we had many more years. Love you so much. Trudy
