Grandpa was a great example of being an honest person, something of which is a rare quality these days. He was a very dedicated, hard working, and faithful man. He was also faithful in taking care of and honoring his mother, something which stood out to me.
Grandpa leaves us all with good memories. For me it includes many times golfing together, much fishing at the lake, waterskiing while he drove the boat, working with cattle, hunting together, working in the garden, playing cards while laughing, and the Christmas season as a kid when the lights were on the trees and house with more than enough presents to bury the christmas tree with big happy dinners.
