Gord, Max, Alex, and the rest of Carol's family... It is with such profound sadness that we pass along our most humble condolences, thoughts and memories of Carol... She was truly a most unique soul.. and she had a certain charm about her that could not be overlooked or mistaken.. I remember one Christmas long ago.. where Carol's love affair with homemade perogies began.. if she mentioned it once, she mentioned it twenty times..
She passed way too young and way too fast. I know that we will all have memories that bring a smile to our faces as we relive those unique moments that Carol in her own way, made special in her own way. Obviously our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family and the special people in Carol's life.. May her memories be with you all and grant some peace that she is not forgotten!

Carol was always so fun and so loving. I had the pleasure of working with her and dodging projectiles thrown in our area at QE. She was my secret pal one year and I was so impressed with her beautiful penmanship. I wish for so much for her. And typical Carol. Breakfast program. What a class act.

To: Helen, Debbie, Alan, Andrew and families it was with great shock to hear of Carol's passing. My thoughts and prayers are sent your way. Its been quite a few years since we have seen one another, but will always remember the coffee times and chats and oh the laughs we use to have in Ft Nelson. I remember the time Carol decided she was going to clean the carpets and she decided she would use dishwasher liquid because of course it was at night (lol),and she called me to come over to see how good a job it did. She was so impressed and She said im writing the company ya never know they might pay me shares because I discovered a new use for it (lol). So she wrote the company and did get a letter back ,and I believe she even got a whole bunch of coupons and free samples. There is not a time goes by when I turn the dishwasher on that I don't think of her. She was so full of life, laughter, and fun and could turn any situation into a good thing. Her love for her two boys and family was unconditional and was easy for anyone to see. Cherish the memories as I know there are many, gone from your arms but will always be in your heart.

We’re going to miss you so much, Carol. You will always hold a special place in our hearts. I will miss busting out the Newfie tunes with you at the lake & whenever we got together for that matter, and Lexi will miss “gwama cawo” joking around & being silly with her. I will forever think of you when I mix a glass of wine with pop. Many memories that we’ll cherish forever. Sending so much love and strength to Gord and all of her family at this difficult time.

Sweet Carol.
20 years ago, when I moved into Regal Court in Lloydminster, there was many lasting friendships made. Carol and her mother, was one of them.
We had so many good times. One that I won't include here, only that it included the word " black" . Carol, you knows what I'm talking about.
That same time, may have included a drive to wainwright to the train station.
The trip to Edmonton. She got a consult on a tummy tuck. Well, she came out, sat in the car, all discouraged.. 7700$ she said, and after a moments pause.. " plus gst" . You had to know Carol, and the way that she had said it, it was priceless. Another moment we always brought up and laughed about.
The lasagna you made Carol.. I was sick for 2 days after. I swore that's what done it and I don't think I had ever let you live it down.
Coffee in the morning, one of us had to have the " French vaniller ( vanilla) Creamer. If Helen and Carol didn't have any, I would bring mine up, and vise versa. Good times.
One thing I know. Carols love for her two boys. She worked her ass off and made sure they didn't do without. They were, and still are her world.
Rest easy my friend. Heaven is a little brighter with you in it. Until we meet again.
