I got to know Scott many many years ago when he as a young man came to be employed where I worked in B.C. He was just a couple of years out of high school. We got to know each other very well, spent many many days working together. Scott had a sense of enjoyment of life that took awhile to come out. When it did, our days together were so often filled with laughter and jokes. When he met Denise, his whole world got so much better. Denise became very quickly, the love of his life that he needed, exactly at that time. I will always remember Scott for his gentleness inside his fun personality, his ability to make friends and how he was a living testimony of God in his life, without really saying words. His daily life showed it. I'm grateful to have been his friend in B.C. and to be blessed to have known him.

Ted and I were in a care group with Scott and Denise. We loved going to their acreage for bomb fires, snacks and watching fireflies in the evening. We had many many pot luck dinners, fun stories and much laughter. Scott had a twinkle in his eye for his loving wife, Denise and always spoke fondly of his growing family. Scott, you will be greatly missed! One day the group will all be together again rejoicing in our Heavenly Father. Carmen and Ted Smart

Scott was an amazing husband, father, grandpy, son and friend. He will be greatly missed!!
Ken and I have some fond memories of him…
We think about his love for golf - and how it was something he enjoyed doing with Denise.
We always enjoyed worship when Scott was drumming. This talent was passed on to Jordan.
We’ll miss learning about rodents and teasing him about how he’s a gopher killer.
Our “care group” will not be the same without Scott.
Last week Jordan told Ken that his Dad was his best friend. Scott had a major impact on his family.
We know that we’ll see you again Scott. Rest In Peace.
