My first memory of Doreen was about 1965 when she was an Avon Manager for the area in which we lived in Lloydminster. My mom worked as an Avon Representative under Doreen's wings. Mom got to know Ralph and Doreen quite well over the years through her friendship and respect for a wonderful lady. After my husband and I moved to an acreage at Alcurve, we met Ralph and Doreen at occasional hall gatherings and were surprised that they didn't live all that far from us. Whenever they had electrical issues, Ralph would call my electrician husband for help and a few drinks. Doreen was the perfect hostess whenever we went to their place for a 'coffee'. I remember her display of brooches she had collected over the years, and I'm thinking many of them must have been from Avon. We send our condolences to the families and friends of Doreen. You were so blessed to have such a wonderful person in your lives and as a role model for the youngsters. It was an honour for us to know Doreen and Ralph.

I remember Auntie Doreen from many family reunions and holiday visits. I recall a very kind heart and great sense of humor. My sympathies to family and friends. She will be missed.
