I wish I could have joined you in person today, but am thankful to have been able to watch the livestream.
I smiled a bit when "Rooster" played during the slideshow; it had already shown up this morning in my random playlist, and I thought of Tim.
I still remember the electric guitar he had growing up... it was the first time I'd ever seen a whammy bar! I was always amazed at the riffs he could play and hoped I could play like him someday. I remember, years later, Tim showing up for a gig Nic and I played in Edmonton and how nervous I got (shaky hands and everything) because I knew he was watching.
I also remember when Tim babysat Kelsey and I, and scared/amused us with funny stories. He was that aloof, cool, older brother that I never had.
May God grant peace, grace, and love to your whole family during this season.
