Your Mother always went out of her way to be friendly to us when we came to Maidstone for a visit. I loved her wit and sense of fun. I know how difficult it is to lose a Mother and my thoughts and prayers are with you. She will be missed.

Ken, Doreen, Barry, Gayle and kids Your Mom and Dad were such a huge part of our growing up. I don't think they ever realized how much they helped us when we were kids. Especially me...who wouldn't drink milk from a cow or eat white butter! I was such a cranky city kid. I don't know how she put up with me! It was years later I found out they were milking the cow and putting it in a glass milk bottle for me! They must have had a good chuckle at that! I learned things from your Mom that I still remember today....I can make butter! Not that I do, but I can! She was a straight shooter as was your Dad. You always knew where you stood. We felt so loved and protected when we were with them. When talking to my son Geoffrey I often refer to those days at the farm. I may not have appreciated it at the time but I do now. I wish we could have been closer and been able to see your Mom and Dad more often but they were ALWAYS in our thoughts and always in our family conversations. Your Mom had such a good attitude about life. So many good times and laughs. Playing cards with the neighbours and relatives on a FRiday night. It was a life we would never have known about had it not been for their kindness in having us there those many summers! My condolences to you all. She was a good woman....we were all lucky to have known her! Sleep well Auntie Fran, give Uncle Bill a hug for me...love Sharon xoxo

Ken,Doreen,Barrie and Gayle, I would like you to know what a fine woman I thought your mom was. I will never forget my times on the farm with her and Uncle Bill and all the great memories they gave me, she was such a brick, and a forgiving person, even after I threw potatoes at the chickens and made them stop laying eggs for a week! Know that she was loved and will be missed.love Rick
