Auntie Doreen, Uncle Ron, Luanne, Travis, Darcy, Joanne, Glen, Mitch and all extended family
I truly cannot imagine the heartache you all must feel with the loss of Gary. I was very moved by the service and the words spoken are a true testament to the great man he was and will continue to be by all those influenced by his dedication to family, work, and everything that Gary undertook. A true measure of a man is not what he says but what he does with the life that he has and through his actions Gary has instilled that commitment to all that he met. Although I had not seen Gary in many years, the slide show at the end of the service stirred up many wonderful memories of spending time with the MacDonald family. As a young “city boy” learning to ride and rope horses, drive big machinery, shoot a rifle, ride a dirt bike, sneak into a drive-in, in the trunk of a car, were a dream come true, and Gary was a big part of those fond memories. I share in your loss and grief and believe that Gary’s memory and lust for life will thrive through his children, grandchildren, family and friends.

Barb and I have so many great memories of time spent with Gary and Luanne back in our younger days. Our 44yr friendship was something I will cherish forever.
One fairly recent memory is how much passion Gary put into telling us how proud he was of his family .
Lorrie, Barb and I were fortunate to have a spur of the moment phone call 5 days before he passed. I will remember the laughs during that call for ever.

Phil and I are saddened to hear of Gary's passing. Phil and Gary met on the school bus and Phil has always valued his friendship, "Toothpick" stories always come up when the Kelly's gather to talk about the good old days. I have had the opportunity to spend time with Gary and Luanne over the years and have the utmost respect and affection for this family. These are good people. I was so deeply sorry to hear of Gary's passing . I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Gary for many years , but from the first time I met him I put him on a pedestal . He was so giving and made everyone around , feel good about themselves . Gary was truly a man that stood out and will be greatly missed . My sincerest condolences to the family .
