The first time I met Dax, he was 6 months old and BJ (Young) and his Daddio Greg were playing with the Red Deer Rebels. The best team; from what I've heard:)) Dax would hang with his Mom and I, and certainly others in the stands, being passed around graciously. Then during the third period; sometimes second, we would gravitate to the lounge area. Greg and BJ knew where to find us- how times have changed lol. Post game interviews were held there and Dax would sit on his Dads lap during his; so cute and happy.
When Tison and I lost BJ in 2005 Sarah was the first to reach out, find out where we were, how we were. And mainly how Tison was)

I am so sorry for your loss, you and your extended family have been in my thoughts and prayers all week. I remember Daxon growing up and visiting Grandpa Glenn, Grandpa John and Uncle Gabe at the once was, infamous Home Hardware store. I had the opportunity to meet Daxon this last year at my work at the shelter. He was always a very mild mannered young man who didn’t deserve to be taken at such a young age. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends during this very difficult time.
