Obituary of Garry Conacher

After a long and valiant battle with cancer, Garry Alex Conacher passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Riverside Health Complex, Turtleford, Saskatchewan, April 15, 2021 at the age of 70 years.

Garry is survived by: his loving wife, Marleen Conacher; son, Jonathan Conacher; two granddaughters, Meaka and Ariya; sister, Vickie (Larry) Thompson; uncles, Robert Conacher, Milton (Madeleine) Conacher, Earl (Muriel) Conacher, Dale (Sheila) Conacher, Roy (Helen) Conacher and Keith (Laurie) Conacher; aunt, Jean (Marcel) Buan; sisters-in-law, Diana (Len) and Marie; brothers-in-law, Terry (Fay) and Stanley (Dianne); as well as numerous other cousins, nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Garry is predeceased by: his parents, Alex and Donna Conacher; beloved grandparents, John and Mary Conacher and Myron and Ada Cross; uncle, Edward Conacher; aunt, Margaret Hanson; parents-in-law, Jack and Mabel Brett; brother-in-law, Don Brett; sisters-in-law, Hazel Adams and Colleen Hall; brother-in-law, Bill Thomson.

The Memorial Service for Garry will be conducted from Mervin United Anglican Church, Mervin, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Due to the current restrictions, this will be by invitation only. If you are unable to attend in person, the service will be aired on 103.5 FM within 1 KM of the church. Please join us in your vehicle on the day of the service but do not exit for the safety of all who are in attendance.

Donations in memory of Garry may be made to Riverside Health Complex Palliative Care or to the donor's charity of choice.
