I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Aunt Muriel. I have very fond memories of our summer visits to the farm, including many walks around the barn, fields, and of course her garden! One of the more striking memories is of my mom, Phyllis, and Aunt Muriel sitting together plucking chickens, laughing, and feathers flying everywhere!! Muriel was such an industrious person and full of energy. She was even quick to laugh...the first one to laugh and smile at some fun.
Wishing you peace and comfort at this difficult time.
From Arline & Wade Humeniuk

The Berry family of Calgary send their love and condolences. I personally have very fond memories of trips to the farm where I was always welcomed with a smile and lovingly-prepared home-cooked meals by Aunt Muriel. She radiated her love of the farming life and gardening. I can still picture the brightness in her eyes and hear her wonderful laugh. Memories that bring a smile to my face.

Sending my hugs and condolences to all of Muriel’s family. I have so many great memories visiting Muriel and her family at the farm she was always working at her flower garden and helping with running the farm. She was always ready with a smile and goodies when we came for a visit.

Dear Neil, Lyle, Monica and family, Your Mom was a wonderful, hard working lady. Her gardens and flower beds were beautiful. I am very honored to call her my Auntie. I have many wonderful and cherished memories. I trust she is now resting comfortable in Jesus’ arms surrounded by your dad, Loretta, Grampa, Gramma, Auntie Margaret and my mom. Although we were deeply saddened to hear of Auntie Muriel’s passing we also
Cherish the many wonderful memories of our times together at “The Farm”.
During our family’s growing up years a trip to the “The Farm” was always
Looked forward to with great anticipation. After work on the Friday of a long weekend
We would pack up and head out for the 4 hr. journey and after passing through
Marwayne the older ones would eagerly began looking for the the familiar landmarks.
By the time we arrived at the house Auntie Muriel would already be on the deck waiting
To welcome her much loved “kidlets”. Uncle Harold would be there the next morning of course
to complete the welcome having worked all night. Her passing is to all of us the end of era and one we are
So thankful and privileged to have been apart of and we will continue to keep those memories alive
In our own family circle.
Our deepest sympathies to all of you
Hope to see you all again sometime when the laws allow.
From Henry and Kathy Klumpenhower and all the “Kidlets” and their families

Our deepest sympathies to all the family. I have so many fond memories of time spent at the farm with your family while growing up. Your mom was always working whether nursing or farming and raising a family but she was such a wonderful mom. She was always so kind to me and over the years that never changed. She was truly a special lady and I know she will be greatly missed. You were truly blessed.
