So sorry of hear of Glenn's passing. I worked for Glenn and Rick for 14 years when we first moved to Lloydminster. He was always willing to stop and help his employees no matter how busy he was. I just watched the slide show and service - loved all the pictures. He was obviously loved as a wonderful family man - husband, father and grandfather. Was happy to see that Glenn and Donna became quite the travellers in the retirement years they had - and Glenn being a good ol' Saskatchewan boy wearing his Rider gear.

Dear Donna, children and grandchildren: Brightsand Lake has another angel in heaven! As your next door neighbours at the lake for over 20 years, we have to say how much we have enjoyed seeing you with the grandkids playing in the water, and enjoying your happy retirement. After frequent golf games together, they would load up the sea-doo or kayaks and zip around for hours with the kids. Night time fires were for the older family members always with lots of laughter. It was obvious that although their retirement was cut far too short, their love for their life together was obvious. God bless you all in the sudden and shocking passing of a fantastic husband, dad, and friend!

As with most of his friends and aquaintances, I found news of Glenn.s passing, shocking because it was so unexpected. While being some ten years my junior,Glenn and I became friends first through fishing. Then besides having Glenn become my accountant,we hunted, curled,played ball and raquetball and golfed together.( the latter, mostly in Arizona). Due to his style of humour, we shared many a laugh in our groups. I could add that we did not experience many unsuccessful hunts together- only all of them.Pat and I wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to Donna and bereaved family members. Dear Donna, I was shocked and saddened to learn of Glenn's sudden passing. Glenn and I were best friends throughout our school years. We had much in common, driving to Manor Park School with a horse drawn cart, his horse Peggy and mine Dolly! I'll always remember him flipping the cart into the ditch coming out of the school yard. It was concerning that he might be injured and some of the older students ran over to help. Glenn was asked "are you ok?" His response I've never forgotten, "all I've done is skinned my arse!" The cart was righted and off he went for home as if nothing had happened. It was always a treat and a fun filled event to overnight at his place. In our high school years we went on weekend fishing trips and one summer took the Greyhound to take in the Calgary Stampede. After going our separate ways after the school years, Glenn always looked me up being the first to come by for a visit on every of my moves. He had a positive attitude and was honest and loyal always. You left us too soon Glenn. The fond memories are never forgotten. Our condolences to you Donna and your family and to Doug and Doreen and families.

Sending love and condolences to Donna and family . It is so unbelievable that Glenn has died. Gary and Glenn were such good friends . Glenn was our accountant all the years we had Smitty’s and during the time the Holiday Inn opened. I think Glenn kept Gary out of many run ins with Revenue Canada. . Glenn & Donna were great friends and neighbors at Bright Sand Lake mowing the lawn and watering our trees when we weren’t there. After Gary passed away both Glenn and Donna were so supportive and kind to me - such wonderful friends. I can see Glenn and Gary sharing a laugh and a joke in their heavenly home.
