Obituary of Vivian Blanchette

Vivian Ardella Blanchette  passed away at Pine Island Lodge, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on January 3, 2021 at the age of 87 years.

Vivian was born in Maidstone, Sk on November 4,1933. Vivian grew up in the Idanell District, attending Idanell school in the Maidstone area. On May 14, 1953 she married Donald Peter Blanchette.

Vivian is survived by: her loving husband of 67 years, Donald "Peter" Blanchette; 6 children, Marie (Gerald Hartman) of Maidstone SK, Don Blanchette (Marilyn) of Streamstown, AB, Terry Blanchette (Tracey) of Blind Bay BC, Colleen (Doug Young) of Paynton,SK, Fern (Wade) Younger of Lloydminster SK and Ardella (Duane Franks) of Lloyd AB; grandchildren, Kurt (Gina) Hartman & Chris (Kim)Hartman, Jeff Collins, Jill (Mike)Vany, Melissa (Sheldon)Nasby, Jeff(Heidi) Blanchette, Sean (Lisa) Blanchette, Ryan (Lauren) Blanchette, Scott (Megan) Young, Devon (Pam) Walker, Warren (Christa) Walker,  Mandy Walker, Chelsea (Kyle) Skoretz and Brett (April)Franks; 29 great grandchildren; and siblings, Shirley Blanchette, Mary Nault and Ted (Linda) Bamford. 

Vivian was predeceased by: her parents, William and Julia Bamford; 1 sister, Georgina Sutherland; and 2 granddaughters, Brandy Young and Nicole Collins. 

A celebration of life service for Vivian will be held at a later date.
