Grandpa was a kind and gentle man and I'm grateful for our time together.
He was fortunate to live a long life and be healthy for most of it. And maybe thats because he enjoyed keeping busy and was still Golfing and building sheds at 80.
At Grandpa and Grandmas 60th Anniversary celebration, Grandpa could be seen running after his Great Grandchildren in the park. He was 79 at the time!
He was soft spoken and thought about what he said before he said it. I've never heard Grandpa say something that wasn't true or was unkind.
He was a great story teller and often a 2 minute story would become a funny and interesting 10 minute one.
Most times when he started talking, the room stopped and eveyone listened, as his stories were always entertaining and often quite humourous.
Grandpa was a very charismatic and likeable person and a great role model for how to behave and treat others.
Grandpa was well respected by all that knew him and deeply loved by family and friends and he will be missed.
R.I.P. Grandpa Gale
