Brian was one of the coolest dads I got to meet. Thanks to Kris and I working together years ago and becoming best friends, I got to meet her family, and am very thankful for that. You are all in my thoughts , your Dad will be missed by soo many but never forgotten.

To Germaine and girls, my deepest condolences. So many childhood memories at the acreage when the family came out to visit. My mom adored her baby brother, and often shared childhood memories of them back on the farm.

I knew Brian all of my life. We went to school together when we lived in the same area of Calgary. I am so glad I got to see him a few years ago when he came to visit me in Phoenix, Arizona. Over the last few years I have rarely seen him, but my memories as a child, teenager and young adult are very strong and unforgotten.
We worked together on my Uncle Alfred's farm a long time ago. This is a fond memory.
My condolences to Germaine and all of his family. To a marriage that lasted so long and a life so well lived.
You will always be remembered

I worked with Brian for the last 6 years and he became my mentor, friend and confidant. I will forever miss the "hi girl" when he saw me each morning.
We shared many a laugh, a few arguments and many great stories. I could also go to Brian with a problem and he would give me advise - never would solve my problem.
I will forever miss his huge smile and listening to him tell his tales.
Condolences to Germaine and family.
Love your "other" daughter - Pam Wells

It was always a good day when you came into Calroc and heard "hey girl" followed by Brian's loveable smile. I loved how he thought I was a genius just because I could fix the photocopier for him - although watching him struggle with that "damn thing" always gave us all a good chuckle. Brian was a great man - always smiling and always willing to tell a story to anyone that would listen. He will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences go to Germaine & the girls . I have so many fond memories of my Uncle Brian as a young girl .., many summer trips to the lakes close by & Kalamaka Lake in B.C. . Brian loved to come on our family summer vacations & us kids so enjoyed his company . As a young girl I remember going over to babysit the girls when he & Germaine could get away for a evening out . What I remember & will hold with me was Brian’s infectious smile & laughter.
May u Rest In Peace ❤️

My deepest condolences to you all during this difficult time. Brian was a wonderful man with a great sense of humour. He made me laugh everyday I worked with him at Foremost. Many days he would shout across the hall from his office to mine to ask me how to spell something as he didn’t trust spellcheck. And a few times a week he would yell “I’m not yelling at you, kiddo! I’m just yelling!” I will always cherish those memories.
I hope you all find comfort together as your reflect on all of your memories with him.

I first met Brian back in the early 2000s. I knew we would be good friends the first time I heard him yell WTF at work. We were friends and co-workers ever since then. Rest easy Brian. Deepest condolences to Germaine and all Brian’s family. He will be missed.

My deepest condolences to your family.
I first met Brian in the good old Universal days. He was someone that I respected and I just felt that he was a great guy. I hadn’t seen him in a few years but ran into him at Denny’s a couple of years ago, when he saw me he still said “Hey kiddo”. It’s something that I will always remember fondly about him.
My thoughts are with you all.

I remember the first few months working at Universal. It was clear Ed was the boss but Brian was the mentor. He would often enlighten us with a humorous bits of wisdom. What we would affectionately call "Brianisims." For example "As my anger goes up my intelligence goes down." or "Even a blind squirrel stumbles across a nut every once in a while."
He once asked me if I knew what the difference between being involved and being committed. Well he said when it comes to breakfast a chicken is involved but a pig is committed. You always got the sense that Brian was committed to anyone who was around him at the time. That you were his focus. That you were important. What more can I say. We will miss you.
