Our condolences and prayers to Ellie, Archie and Ronda, Karen and Murray and your children. Morgan was such a wonderful, caring, and cheerful person. Every time we saw Morgan he always shared his kindness and encouragement at First Lutheran and more recently at Hearthstone Place. He was a light in our lives where Jesus shone through. Back in the mid 1970's we had Youth Group and a singing group called El Shaddi. Morgan was always beaming with every song we sang. He was a wonderful example of a true Christian to us all. Sincerely Orlene and Gary Martens and family

Ellie, Archie, Karen and Families. We are very sorry to hear of the passing of Morgan. Morgan truly loved his immediate and all of his extended family. I will always remember some of those current issue debates and how animated Morgan would get especially if the politicians got it wrong. And Morgan always had a strong sense of right and wrong. I always enjoyed the energy that he would bring to a debate. We all know that he is in a better place now and probably looking for a good fishing spot!

Always a smile, a story and a laugh when we met with Morgan over the years whether it was a political meeting, First Lutheran or in one of the care homes more recently. Morgan was so outgoing and pleasant to deal with. His place in Heaven is secured because of his love for Jesus. Ellie & the family, Lucy & I send our sympathy at this time.

To the Day Family, Sorry to hear about the passing of Morgan. I dealt with Morgan when he was selling flooring at Nelson and I was installing for them. I also was working at Husky when Morgan joined them. He was always fair to deal with and we shared lots of laughs over the years. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family at this time.

Ellie, Archie and Karen and families. We are very sorry for your loss and hope you will find solace in the kind words and memories people are sharing. I shared with Karen the other day how I always enjoyed seeing Morgan when I returned to the Hearthstone when visiting Dad. He was always seemed so happy to see someone from "the circle". I remember many years ago how much he enjoyed fishing and telling fishing stories, it was always which lake was better for fishing, Loon Lake or Peck Lake. He will be deeply missed and I know he and Ellie were a great comfort to both mom and dad after they moved to the Hearthstone.

To Ellie, Archie, Ronda, Karen, Murray and families, I’m so sorry my Uncle is gone but I have so many fun and positive memories of Morgan. Even when we were young and visiting Grandma and Grandpa Day in Meadow Lake many of our summers, Morgan would make sure we had some fun times, teaching his nephews how to fish, build a campfire and cook up our catch, and make sure we went to church with Grandma and Grandpa on Sunday. Many trips to Loon Lake (and there just happened to be a church camp to balance out all our swimming and fishing) added highlights to our summers. He would treat us more like his own sons than nephews and never fail to offer an opinion on the world and how we might lead our lives! And decades later, on my annual visits out west, he would continue to share his view of the world and how we might live our lives! He was proud of every one of us.
I will never forget you, Uncle Morgan, or the impact you made on my life and I was lucky enough to get you for my middle name.
