Arthur Raymond "Art" Mickelson passed away at Lloydminster Continuing Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta, on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at the age of 71 years.
After graduating from the University of Saskatchewan in Pharmacy, Art went on to operate Sprucewood Pharmacy. In addition to his dedication to his career and family, Art had a passion for music, and a soft spot for animals.
Art is lovingly remembered by: his wife, Margaret Mickelson; three children, Hannah (Kris) Bexson, Jane (Brian) Snider, and Paula Mickelson; grandchildren, Grace, Beth and Summer Bexson, and Oscar and Sophie Snider; siblings, Harold (Karen) Mickelson, Karen (Ian) McCallum, and Joy Allen; brother-in-law, John Campbell; sister-in-law, Nancy (Ken) McGregor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Art is predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Alta Mickelson.
Art's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Prairie Room at Lloydminster Exhibition, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan before cremation takes place.
The Mickelson family encourages those in attendance to bring their fond memories of Art to share.
Donations in memory of Art may be made to CKUA Radio or Lloydminster & District SPCA.
