Obituary of Muriel Trelford

Muriel Avis Trelford passed away at Lloydminster Continuing Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta, on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the age of 95 years. Muriel is survived by: her son, David Trelford and his children, Amanda (Lexi) Trelford, Andrew (Jessica) Trelford, and Lauren Trelford; his daughter, Pat (Rod) Sellers and their children, Sarah (Ally) Sellers, and Matthew Sellers; her great-grandchildren, Ryley Trelford, Aubrey Trelford, Phoenix and Lilyanne Sellers, and Hunter Evans and Pierce Hall. Muriel is predeceased by: her husband, David Trelford; her parents, William and Kathleen Mudge; her sister, Kathleen; and her brother, David. A Celebration of Life for Muriel will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Muriel may be made to Alzheimers Society of Alberta or Lloydminster and District SPCA. Card of Thanks ~ Muriel's family would like to thank the angels among us for caring so kindly for her. Lloydminster Continuing Care home is a clean, well run home. The staff are well trained, kind and went out of their way to make Muriel’s life easier, especially at the end of her time with us. Also, thank you to Dr. DuPlooy for his kindness and quality of care. A special Thank you to Judy Wenzel, Muriel’s caregiver and best friend for many years. Always making sure Muriel was at her best. Thank you to Dorinda and Robert Sunderland for helping out for many years, particularly in moments of crisis.
