I had the pleasure of working for Ken for around 7 years. He was well respected in the Environmental consulting industry and leaves KB Prairie in good hands with Steve and Sheri. Ken will be missed.

My sincere condolences to you all..his loss will leave a huge hole in your lives.
Due to circumstances I won’t be able to make it, (from Calgary).
Ken and I were good buddies from grade 1 to grade 7, at Merna..then our family moved to Grande Prairie. Never saw him again, however, through Ron, I did kind of keep track of what was happening in Ken’s life.
I stayed over at the Bownes’s one
time. Sure a lot of people at the table! After eating, there was a peanut fight..I was amazed that no one lost an eye!!
Ken also told me that one time when he was out in the pasture, a badger came at him..he picked up a big rock and “creamed him”!!
Thanks for the good memories, buddy!!

My condolences to you and your family Linda. I had the pleasure of working with Ken at Norcen and again at Encana. He was always the guy the other guys tried hard to emulate! He was the moral compass for the younger kids on staff because he never held back from telling them what he thought! If you asked Ken for his opinion, you would get a straight up answer. I always respected him so much for that! He was always a hard worker, who was very particular about how the work should be done. I loved his sideways smirk when he was telling one of the "boys" how things should be! A great man, whom I know will be missed by so many!
