My heart will forever miss my best friend. He came into my life 11 yrs ago, 6yrs of those yrs he was my partner. We were gifted with two beautiful girls Mekwanis & Mahekanis. I find comfort knowing he now with our son, Jarad Jr. We remained very close even after our separation, as we co-parent our daughters. He gifted us with siblings for my girls to love in the yrs to come. My home was always open to him to be with his girls. We are grateful for the girls to have had their Dad in their lives to share their celebrations-grads, bdays, recitals, pow-wows. They will miss his daily texts and his nightly good night calls. They will miss their Dad in the days, months and in the years to come. I will remain true and honor your wishes you laid before me for our daughters. I love you, my best friend. You're life has now come full circle and you will be truly missed. Much love and respect to his parents, brothers, sister, all his babies and all those that loved Jarad "Spud". Until we meet again, my friend ❤

I first met my friend, my brother, in prince george.. he was straightening out his life back then.. i was working at pgnfc. We met in ceremony, my uncle (White Thunderbird) Leonard ward-pan was running lodge south of pg and at his home in fraser lake during that time. Jarad was his 'oskapewis' and uncle called him grandson/nephew. We were his helpers in ceremony. Jarad learned uncles songs by heart and he was courageous while at it. Such a powerful clear voice with compassion. I admired my brother very much. He sang well.
Years passed, we would message each other every now and then. We would trade maskihkiy. Catch up.
I saw him last in high prairie years later, he messaged me and i went to amiro's to meet and we had supper together.
It was a wonderful visit, talked about family and what we had experienced since our last reunion. That was a few years ago.
I thought we would sing together again one day. Not to be.
In our moments together, he was 'napew'. He was a good man.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends.. He will be missed.

To many memories to even start with. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel. I’m not able to accept this, I can imagine others can’t either. But one day at a time. You were an amazing father/man. May not have seen eye to eye on many things but I’ll always have love for you as the father of Mila..She will forever know who you were and how much you loved her. Until we meet again Jarad.. I am so so sorry Chelsey, Andrea, Trevor, Jerry and everyone else for having to go through this. Long live his memories and please watch over your children. Rest easy Jarad Ryan.

I remember Uncle taking my sister and I out for lunch one day and telling us stories about his life, about the creator, and just joking with us and getting to know us. He was a friendly face who was here for a short time but a meaningful one. He taught me a lot in the short time spent with him but the one thing that has always stuck with me is to always be happy no matter the circumstance . You can’t change what happens to you but you can change your attitude about what happens . Rest In Peace .

Jarad AKA Uncle Spud was my best friend for years, we talked occasionally these last few years but not like it used to be, he was quite the character and always had a smile on his face, I am truly going to miss him, I have a lot of the letters that he wrote me from back when, pictures he drew me. He was a big part of my life for years and part of my family, my heart hurts for his children and his family, I will truly miss him and the person he was

Jared will be missed. When we had a lot of great memories from Frenchmen Butte or Buffalo lake. One memory that really sticks out is when we had went to visit Auntie Andrea and uncle Gerry in buffalo lake. Jared, Morgan and myself where playing in his treehouse just down the hill from where they had lived. It was around dusk that day and we had heard some rustling in the bush. We all freaked out screaming for help; just to find out it was only there dog. We all had a good laugh after that. This is one of many memories of my cousin/ Brother. You are missed wak.

Jarad always had a great sense of humor. He always made me laugh especially when I was feeling down. I remember both he and Michael kicked my bedroom door open and did one of the WWE entertainers moves/dance.
Or in highschool when a boy showed any interest in me whatsoever Jarad deemed him not good enough for me because I deserved the best. I have so many memories with him I can't even count.
